I've just completed the Yoga in Healthcare training to deliver a new social prescribing initiative.
The programme is a gentle practice involving breath, movement and relaxation designed to help specific groups:
The sessions last for around 2 hours and the course runs for 10 weeks with a maximum class of 15. You should attend all 10 sessions if possible.

I haven't got a firm date for setting up the course yet so this is a bit of a "heads up" really!
This is a "Social Prescribing " initiative so if you are interested get in touch with your GP and bring this to their attention as they may not know about it. Or you can contact me to go through a self referral process and be put on the waiting list .
NB It is NOT a free of charge service on the NHS so there is a cost of £100 for the full course .
However I am actively looking at ways to reduce that cost through funding initiatives.
